CEO MESSAGE
Korea Line Corporation, the Master of the Sea.
As a pioneer in marine transportation industry in Korea,
Korea Line Corporation (KLC) is dedicated in providing merchant carrier service on energy resources throughout the world since its foundation in 1968.
In 1976, for the first time in the maritime history of Korea, KLC has signed a Contract of Affreightment (COA) agreement with POSCO for a long-term delivery of iron ore and coal transportation. Today, Korea Line Corporation continues providing merchant carrier services to Korea’s major leading companies and organizations including Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO), Korea Gas Corporation (KOGAS) and Hyundai Glovis.
Korea Line Corporation is pursuing a long-term goal of achieving the top in the liner and tramp services by actively participating in the International Transportation Tenders. With 50 years of history and tradition, Korea Line Corporation always strives for the best to provide quality merchant carrier services to all our customers. Korea Lines Corporation began its new journey under supervision of SM Group as of 2014, and we look forward to accomplishing the best in our merchant shipping business by providing top quality customer services.
